Heading back to School? Be true to your fashion sense and wear all things girl. Follow these tips and be fabulous in bows and blouses.

If going back to school means trying out for the drama club where your greatest skill is crying on command, if pink is your signature color and you know that bows are for girls of all ages, feel free to claim your status as a girly girl. The girl to go to for delicate, feminine style, the 21st century version of your look is anything but traditional. Let this be your back to school shopping guide.

Cardigans - A girly girl essential is the quintessential Sandra Dee-esque button-up sweater. Be sure to pick out ones with faux pearl buttons or lace details. Delia’s sells cute varieties that come in colors perfect for you, like ivory and purple.
Ruffle Blouse - Ruffle blouses are all the rage this season, and it is no wonder. They are dressy yet fun and for curvy teens they hit in all the right places. This is the go-to item in your closet; a blouse that will work for your Honor Society meeting and science fair presentation.
Cuffed Jeans - Okay, so even the most girlish of girly girls dons denim occasionally. To preserve your look (and the lead role in the spring musical) go for the vintage style of cuffed jeans. Pair them a puffed sleeve tee or floral tunic for a sweetheart look. Check out consignment shops and try to nab the real thing for a smart price.
Pink Converse - Let your Chucks declare your status as girl. Converse come in many shades of pink and can to be customized to suit your style and grace.
Floral Skirt - Skirts are the mainstay of a girly girl’s wardrobe. This year grab the masses of knee-length floral skirts that are in the stores. Your best bet? Forever21; their variety is unmatched and there isn’t a grandma lookalike on the rack.
Embellished Tank - You’ll need something to go underneath that cardigan so grab an embellished tank. Strategically placed sequins, lace or rhinestones add that extra sweetness to a basic piece.
Headbands - Bangs are back, which means headbands are in. Chose ones that are wider for less chance of a headache.
